Connecting Way : 연결을 향해

해당 전시는 '마을이 미술관이다' 라는 개념 아래 광주 양림동 마을 전역을 전시장으로 설정하고 있습니다. 광주를 대표하는 예술마을 양림동에서 활동하는 작가들의 소규모 아뜰리에와 양림동만의 고유한 풍경을 간직한 야외 공간을 활용하여 관람객들은 마을 전역을 탐험하듯 전시를 관람하게 됩니다. 

마을과 골목에서 경험하는 예술이 줄 수 있는 가장 큰 가치는 연결의 현장성입니다. 'Connecting Way : 연결을 향해' 라는 주제는 예술과 일상의 연결, 세대 및 계층 간의 연결, 마을과 세계와의 연결을 펼쳐내려는 의미를 담고 있습니다. 

마을에 내재된 다층적 레이어 간의 연결 속에서 우리는 예술을 통해 지속가능한 마을로서 나아가는 양림동의 모습을 만날 것입니다. 평소에는 개방되지 않았던 장소들과 닫혀있던 마음들을 하나로 잇는 포용의 가치를 발신하여, 함께하는 연대의 기쁨을 회복할 수 있기를 기대합니다 .

Under the concept that "the village itself is an art museum," the entire village of Yangnim in Gwangju is set as an exhibition hall. Taking advantage of the small-scale ateliers of artists and the outdoor spaces that retain Yangnim-dong's unique charm, visitors can experience the exhibition while exploring the entire village.

The greatest value that art experiences in villages and alleys can offer is the immediacy and authenticity of connection. The theme "Connecting Way: Toward Connection" embodies the intention to unfold the connections between art and everyday life, between generations and classes, and between the village and the world.

Through the connections among the multi-layered aspects inherent in the village, we will witness Yangnim-dong advancing toward a sustainable future through art. We hope to restore the joy of solidarity by promoting the value of inclusion that bridges hearts and spaces.
